Jakarta's Flood

The Thursday floods, spurred when the riverbanks burst throughout Jakarta, Many of our Clients who fled their homes are staying at mosques, schools even on the street or railway, sleeping on floors with little access to restrooms.
Water levels had dropped or receded completely in some areas of Jakarta, but the renewed rains brought water levels in low-lying regions to three meters deep on Tuesday, raising fears of people wading in disease-ridden lakes of raw sewage.
More than 115,000 people returned home on drier lands, but the less fortunate — about 220,000 people — remained in temporary shelters.
So, we move on...

Until Last Night we can only provide and deliver 500 bags of Basic Food to our clients who fled. The most crucial thing in a flood like this is to get people food and safe water and get it to them fast.
